On being un/able to walk through a wall
What would I incant were I a ghost to be re-found repeatedly?
What can I say so beautifulthat it is unforgettableso simple that it echoesuntil the next time heard?
What can equal the medium of waves,be worthy of ionospheric resonance, more relentless than a well-loved tunelasting beyond memory, more universal than breath?
When found I will translate my waves of wordsinto the language of gravity, electricpull, to be plagiarised by a fireflyin her epic — On Wind.
She will turn into a fossil buried in a rocksomeone rests on. We might both break through someday.
All entangled in possibility,in pull and echobriefly rising (again)like a sine.
