Deniz Dağdelen Düzgün
Bio:
Deniz Dağdelen Düzgün was born in Izmir, Turkey. He graduated from ITU Mechanical Engineering Department. In November of 2015, his first poetry book Mavi Çelişki (Blue Contradiction) was published by Sıfırdan Publishing (Zero Publishing). He won the 2019 Yaşar Kemal Poetry Award with his poem "The Millennial Bee of Serez". His poems have appeared in the journals Kurşun Kalem, Lacivert, Şiirden, Yaba, Hayal, Şehir, Edebiyat Nöbeti, Berfin Bahar, Edebiyatist, Evrensel Kültür, Dil ve Edebiyat, Patika, Bireylikler, Eliz, Mavi Yeşil, Yaşam Sanat, Aphrodisias Sanat, Ekin Sanat, Tmolos. He was featured in “A Poet in Every Issue” section in the Kıyı Magazine. He has served as a volunteer at Mask Kara Theater and was responsible for international relations. Currently, he is the international editor as Kurşun Kalem (Pencil).
