Zaria Thomas
Zaria Thomas was born in High Point, North Carolina. In 2021 she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts for Studio Art with a concentration in Painting from Western Carolina University. While completing her BFA, she was an Artist-in-Residence at Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Ireland. She will soon attend The Maryland Institute College of Art for an MFA in Painting.

Brief Artist Statement
Zaria Thomas is an artist based in Jacksonville, FL. She explores emotional connections and her own relationship with the world through powerful and bold oil paintings and mixed media work. She reimagines the boundaries between the physical and emotional realm, seeking to express the unseen through vibrant colors and vivid imagery. Through her work, she hopes to invite viewers on a journey, to build relationships with her work, and explore their own emotional connections to the world around them.
