Silvina Mizrahi
Silvina Mizrahi is an Argentinian American interdisciplinary artist and art educator based in Boston. Her work is fueled by her beliefs in Art as a tool that helps us to connect, to heal and to embrace our differences. She likes to work with different media and techniques that can more accurately express the purpose of the project. Her works encompass figurative bronze sculptures, abstract expressionist mixed media paintings, recycled materials sculptures, community art and public art. Silvina exhibits in galleries and museums both nationally and internationally (Jerusalem Center for Performing arts, Museo Timoteo Navarro, Argentina; Arco Baleno, Uruguay; MFA Boston, and Maison de L’Argentine du Paris, France, among others). She has received several awards, including the Nathaniel Bushward Award from the Copley Society, the Juror Choice from the Thomas Menino Art Center in Boston. In 2017 Silvina was named “One of the 100 most influential people for the Latino Community in Boston” by el Planeta, Boston. Currently she is a Selected Artist at the Cove Gallery in Wellfleet, MA and is a 2023 MASSCulturalCouncil and NEFA awardee. WWW.SILVINAMIZRAHI.COM
